Volunteers

Requirements to Volunteer

Must be enrolled in Physical Therapy, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy at an accredited university.

What to Expect

Meals and lodging are included for all of our volunteers.

Each volunteer will be paired up with one camper. You will be responsible for being with that camper for the duration of the weekend and assisting them in any way that they require. Take this opportunity to practice your handling and positioning techniques.

Each camper who participates in the program is used to having assistance and will typically ask you for your help if needed. Feel free to ask your camper what their specific needs are and what their expectations for the weekend are.

Camp Activities

Each year, we change up the theme of camp and hold specialty activities within those themes. However, each year you will help your camper do the following activities:

  • swimming

  • kayaking/canoeing

  • fishing

  • low ropes course

  • paintball

  • gaga ball

  • archery

  • basketball

  • crafts

  • games

  • zipline (if your camper is a trailblazer)
